ABOUT LPG LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
What is LPG Lymphatic Drainage?
LPG lymphatic drainage uses a handheld device with two motorized rollers and gentle, adjustable suction to recreate the rhythmic strokes a trained therapist would use during manual lymphatic drainage. The device glides along the treated area in slow, sweeping passes that follow the natural direction fluid moves toward your body's drainage points, such as the underarm or the groin. The benefit is twofold: the treatment helps encourage movement of built-up fluid while also supporting tissue mobility in areas that have started to feel tight or rope-like.
This service, also called post-op manual lymphatic drainage or post-op lymphatic massage, is separate from post-op or post-surgical medical care. Your plastic surgeon's medical team provides that kind of care in a medical facility. Ours is a complementary, non-medical service, not a replacement for it.
It's also not Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) or Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy, certified medical therapies our team isn't trained to provide. Plastic surgeons commonly recommend post-op manual lymphatic drainage as a complementary recovery aid, and we're glad to work alongside your surgeon's instructions.
